    1. If you do not have literature then you must meet the following requirements for Visual Arts: Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any one of Fine Arts / Vusual Arts / Photography / Craft Practice/Dyeing & Bleaching, and any other two subjects, one of which must be an Arts Subject.

  1. Hi, am a science student but interested in theatre arts… What are the requirements?

    1. Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English and any other two subjects one of which much be an Arts subject.

    1. If you already have English Language, Mathematics and Literature/Music then any or both Government and CRS can be chosen to calculate aggregate score.

  2. Does music have to be one of my four subjects for jamb? I didn’t do it in waec and was wondering if I could use literature instead?

    1. Any of Music, Literature and Fine Arts has to be one of your four subjects. It does not matter if you did not do music in O-levels. You can meet the subject requirements for Creative Arts without Music in O-levels.

  3. I got b2 in maths and English language,c6 in literature and government,d7 in crs,but didn’t do Yoruba in my gce can I still go for theatre arts?

    1. For visual arts in Unilag the required subjects are: Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any one of Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Photography / Craft Practice/Dyeing & Bleaching, and any other two subjects, one of which must be an Arts Subject.

Aim for A1s in all your subjects, though a minimum of B3 all through would be sufficient.

    1. JAMB UTME subjects for Philosophy are English Language, one Arts subject and any other two subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Science.

  12. i want to study visual art in unilag but did not write visual art in my o’levels
    maths b3,english c6,literature d7, dyeing&bleachimg b2, crs b3

    1. Your Dyeing & Bleaching is a perfect substitute for Visual Art. But you must replace Literature with another subject. D7 is not a result. Any subject will do for you because your four listed subjects have met the O-level requirements for Creative Arts in Unilag.

Get the LagTutor Android App on Google PlayStore. The app contains the required subject combinations for all undergraduate courses offered in Unilag. See: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lagtutor.android.lagtutorapp

  13. My kid sis applied for law and she wants to change to theater art how can she go about it?

    1. She will buy change of course form from JAMB through their portal when it opens for that.

  14. Can i study theatre arts in unilag with English, literature, government and crs as Utme subjects?

    1. Your O-level subjects must meet the requirements of the course you applied for. If it doesn’t, change to another course for which you meet the O-level requirements.

    1. Fine Arts is not compulsory for you to study Creative Arts. While Literature in English is compulsory in O-levels, in UTME you must do Literature or Fine Arts or Music for Creative Arts.
