2.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of Five (5) credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics, taken at not more than two sittings.
  2. Applicants seeking admission to Year Two should possess any of NCE, ND (Minimum of Lower Credit), JUPEB, IJMB, GCE A’ Levels in relevant subjects.
  3. Applicants seeking admission to Year Three should possess any of HND (Minimum of Lower Credit), Bachelor’s degree (Minimum of Third Class), and evidence of NYSC discharge Certificate, Exemption or Exclusion Certificate.
  4. Applicants seeking admission to Year Three with relevant Professional Qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, ACIB, ANAN, ACCA, ACMA, ACIS, CII, CIBN, and ACIA are eligible to apply.
  5. Applicants awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
  6. Applicants for the Distance Learning Institute programmes should not be less than 16 years of age by 31st October, 2025.
  7. Admission is open to all applicants irrespective of any learning disability or challenge.
  8. Applicants are required to possess basic ICT skills to enable them to navigate the ICT-enabled supported Blended Learning Model (IESBL) of the ODL mode
  9. There will be no UTME examination for Distance Learning Institute, University of Lagos (UNILAG).
  •   PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION

The application is in two stages: JAMB and DLI UNILAG

STAGE 1: Log on to JAMB CAP Website and register

Pay the sum of N3,500 to obtain a registration number.

STAGE 2:

Step 1: Log to UNILAG application portal http://applications.unilag.edu.ng

Step 2: Click “Start fresh Application”

Step 3: Select Distance Learning Institute as application type, then provide your Surname, First Name, Middle Name, JAMB Registration Number, Mobile Number, and

E-mail Address.

Step 4: Click the “Pay now” to pay online, the application fee of N20,000:00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only, OR Print the payment advice with Remita Number to make payment at any Commercial Bank.

Step 5: Return to the application portal (http://applications.unilag.edu.ng) after payment, click “continue application” enter your payment reference number and your surname in lower case as password.

Step 6: Complete all required details and upload necessary documents.

Step 7: Complete the application form, submit online, and print a copy. (Candidates can save their application form for later editing).

Step 8: All completed application forms must be submitted online on or before 31st December, 2025.

2025/2026 Application Form into the School of Nursing (SON), LUTH

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into schools in LUTH.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into the following schools of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi – Araba, Lagos, Nigeria:

ii) School of Health Information Management – ND/HND – Terminal (Jamb Score: 150 and Above)

iii) Federal School of Biomedical Engineering – ND/HND – Terminal (Jamb Score: 150 and Above)

(Above listed schools i-iii require the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).)

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates are to visit the Admission Portal: https://luth.gov.ng/schools and click the school of interest for detailed information.

i. Please ensure to read and adhere strictly to the admission requirements carefully before completing the account creation form of the school of interest to avoid disqualification.

ii.Complete the account creation form. Ensure you supply correct information, functional email address and phone contacts as required. An email containing your login details will be sent to you after the account creation. Through the email, you will get information on how to make payments.

iii.If you desire to make payment immediately, a prompt to “Make payment” will be highlighted after the account creation.

iv.You will be redirected to the Remita website where you can make payment. A Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code automatically generated when your account was created will be attached. Please note that various means of payment are supported on the platform.

v. On successful completion of the payment, the applicant should visit: https://luthschools.edu.ng/profile and login with the user ID sent through the email and complete the application form for the desired programme.

Closing Date: (12) weeks from the date of publication for all schools, except for the three schools under the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST PRINT OUT THEIR COMPLETED ONLINE APPLICATION BIO-DATA (COLOURED) WHICH IS SENT TO THEIR EMAIL ON COMPLETION OF APPLICATION. SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT THIS DURING THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS.

Unilag 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2025/2026 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply for Post-UTME Online Screening.

The University of Lagos online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into ALL UNDERGRADUATE COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, will commence from Monday, July 28 to Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2025/2026 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply for Post-UTME Online Screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

• Only candidates who must have uploaded their O/Level results on or before September 12, 2025 will be considered for admission.

• Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by September 30, 2025 are not eligible and need not apply.

• Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude test will not be considered for admission.

• Candidates must use their personal and active emails to register for the Post-UTME Screening as this will be the channel for communication.

• Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.

• Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates should log on to University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng then, take the following steps:
• Click on Admissions
• Click on Post-UTME Application
• Login with UTME Application number as username and surname in lowercase as password
• Generate and print payment advice
• Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online
• Return to the University portal to complete the screening form
• Print Post-UTME Examination Pass

MOCK AND POST-UTME TEST (ONLINE)
Mock Examinations will hold from Monday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Post-UTME On-line Aptitude test will hold from Monday, September 1 to Friday, September 5, 2025.
