Requirements for Master of Education in Community Development and Social Work in Unilag – Sandwich
PROGRAMME OUTLINE:
DURATION: The programme runs for 2 semesters.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Areas of Specialization
(i) Adult Literacy and Non-Formal Education
(ii) Community Development and Social Work Education
(iii) Manpower Training and Development Education
(iv) Adult Education Management
The M.Ed. programme in any of the areas of specialization is open to candidates with:
Bachelor’s (honours) degree in Adult Education from the University of Lagos or any other recognized University; or
Bachelor’s (honours) degree in Education other than Adult Education from the University of Lagos or any other recognized University; or
Bachelor’s (honours) degree in disciplines other than Education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Lagos or any other recognized University.
Candidate may also be required to satisfy the department in a selection process.
