University of Lagos Undergraduate specific admission requirements for Linguistics Yoruba 2018.

UTME Requirements: Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three Arts, Science or Social Sciences. Social Studies and Civic Education are also accepted.

UTME Subjects: English Language and any three Arts, Science or Social Sciences.

Direct Entry Requirements: i) Very good passes in three JUPEB/A Level in subjects in Yoruba/Igbo and any two of History, IRS/CRS, French, Government, Music, Visual Arts and Literature- in- English.

ii) NCE (Merit) in two subjects to include a Nigerian Language.

iii) LASU Diploma in Communication Arts.

    1. Entry Requirements for Master of Art in Yoruba (Language Option) (Full Time):

      Bachelor’s (honours) degree (B.A./B.Ed.) in Yoruba or Igbo from the University of Lagos or any other recognized University. This subject should have been taken up to the final year of the undergraduate programme.
      Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in relevant subjects from the University of Lagos or any other recognized University.
      Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process
