    1. No. An O-level credit pass in Economics is a requirement to study Economics.

      The UTME requirements for Economics in Unilag are: Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two from Arts, Social Science and Science subjects. Commerce is not accepted.

    Mathematics: B3
    Biology: C4
    Chemistry: B3
    Physics: C4

    My state of Origin is Anambra. Choice of Institution include UNILAG as first choice and LASU as second choice. What are my chances?. So I can be prepared for what’s to come. Thanks

    1. Your O-level aggregate is 37/50. Your UTME contribution is 227/8 = 28.38. Your total score is 65.38. The 2016 merit cut-off for Psychology was 66.5.

      You need to pray that this year’s cut-off score is less than last year’s

    1. You need to re-write UTME and score above 300 to have a realistic chance for Medicine. Also your O-level result must be good in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

      The Unilag 2016 merit cut-off score for Physiotherapy was 70.88.

    1. Your O-level aggregate 37/50. Your UTME contribution is 218/8 = 27.25. Your total score is 62.25points.
      The Unilag 2016 merit cutoff for Cell Biology and Genetics was 65 points. What state are you from?

    1. Hello Gift,

      You will have to re-write your O-Levels because your D7 in Maths has ruined your result. For Physiology you must have credit pass (minimum of C6) in each of English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. We recommend results from A1 – B3.

      Also your UTME score should be 300+ to stand a good chance of making the merit list in Unilag.

    1. The Ekiti state catchment cut-off for Cell Biology and Genetics in 2016 was 57 points. Thus with a total score of 62.25 in 2017 you have a decent chance Grace.

      based on the 50:50 system used by Unilag in the 2016 admissions season your O-level aggregate is 40/50 and your UTME contribution is 235/8 = 29.38. Your total score is 69.38. The merit cut-off for Civil Engineering in 2016 was 71.5 points.

      The Oyo State catchment cut-off for Civil Engineering was 68 points in 2016. Going by this your chances are good.

      However, there will be post UTME this 2017 which means that the grading system will be different. I urge you to prepare well for post-UTME given that you stand a fighting chance for admission.
